Top companies hiring February 2022

Good news, everyone. January is officially over…

That means the days are getting longer, the post-Christmas lull is well and truly a thing of the past, and spring is (slowly) on its way. And things are also looking up when it comes to your career. In fact, there’s a whole host of amazing companies searching for staff right now, and with National Apprenticeship Week taking place from the 7th of February, there’s something out there for everyone.

If you’re thinking about a career change, or if you’re looking to learn a new trade or gain a qualification while working, here are just five of the top employers hiring in February:

The RAF (short for the Royal Air Force) is the UK’s air and space force. The RAF was founded at the end of the first World War, and forms a key part of the UK’s defence against attack or invasion.

Currently, there are seven RAF bases in the UK and several overseas bases, in countries such as Cyprus, Canada and the Falkland Islands. The RAF recruits active personnel (anyone who can be called upon to participate in missions), and a range of support staff, including technicians and facilities. But what it’s really looking for right now is apprentices – making it the perfect choice to kick off National Apprenticeship Week.

If you want to gain a nationally recognised qualification whilst working in a fast-paced and exciting environment, and possibly get to travel the world (for free!), an RAF apprenticeship could be for you.

Roles in demand:

Why join the RAF:

  • Subsidised accommodation, food and free health and dental care
  • Opportunity to travel
  • Fantastic career progression opportunities

Location: Throughout the UK
