image joins forces with NHS Jobs to fill vital COVID-19 roles

We’re proud to be partnering with NHS Jobs to promote critical COVID-19-specific roles – right across the UK.

Working alongside NHS Jobs, the official online recruitment service for the NHS in England and Wales, we’re helping to fill a variety of vacancies. All of which are vital to combatting the coronavirus pandemic.

The most in-demand jobs range from nurses and practitioners to radiographers, housekeepers and paramedics – and, of course, vital roles within the national Vaccination Programme

These positions all have a crucial role to play in supporting the NHS, at a time when it needs us the most. Here’s some more information about what jobs are on offer, and how you can help make a difference.

What roles are available?

There are currently over 1,200 COVID-19 critical roles that urgently need to be filled.

Healthcare assistants, nursing and occupational therapy positions are in the highest demand, followed by administrative roles such as receptionists and medical secretaries.

Whilst the majority of COVID-19 roles waiting to be filled are for medical staff, there are also many non-medical roles available, such as those in administration and housekeeping – all of which play a vital role in keeping the public safe.

So even if you have no previous experience in healthcare, you can still get involved and help join the fight.

How is helping?

As part of our continued commitment to help combat the virus, all NHS jobs are posted on free of charge.

Our collaboration with NHS Jobs will help to fill these roles fast, allowing candidates to search and apply for jobs in seconds. No matter where they are.

David Roberts, Head of Service for NHS Jobs, said: “The NHS Jobs team has been working at pace to increase the reach of NHS vacancies and make it easier for job seekers to find roles relating to COVID-19. We appreciate the support that has provided and it is great to be working together to support this national effort.”

James Reed, Chairman of REED Group, adds: “Job seekers are demonstrating a real desire to work for the NHS right now, with applications on for COVID-19 vaccinators in particular going through the roof. And it’s not just clinical roles proving popular, job seekers are increasingly applying to support roles such as cleaning, care and support as well. We’re proud to be working with NHS Jobs to help fill vital roles that support the national recovery.”
