Introducing: Our new brand |

It’s no secret that looking for a job and building your career has changed significantly over recent years… has also changed during this time and we felt it was important to reflect this in our brand. So, from today we’re rolling out our new brand across our Jobs, Courses and Career Advice services.

Here’s some more information about why we’ve made these changes and how we’ll continue to connect you to a world of career opportunities online:

Looking for work has changed

For many people, the effects of the pandemic and associated lockdown restrictions led to a fair amount of career uncertainty and upheaval. We saw an irreversible rise in flexible and remote working and a huge increase in people reskilling and switching industries in their search for a new role – changing the world of work irrevocably.

In fact, 70% of jobseekers say they are now open to changing the sector they work in to find the right opportunity and over half (52%) are willing to relocate. Additionally, two-thirds (66%) of jobseekers spent time in 2020 learning new skills, with the main ambition being to improve their career prospects in 2021.*

We know that careers no longer follow a linear path – which is why we felt it was important to reflect this across

Becoming a destination for careers

As well as a new logo, colour palette and brand experience (which you’ll see right across our Jobs, Courses and Career Advice pages) we’ve introduced a new vision across to: connect people to a world of career opportunities online.

This reflects the fact that we’re more than just a jobs site. We’re a destination for people to take control of their career. So no matter what someone is looking for, or what stage of their career they’re at, we’re here for what’s next.

Connecting people with a world of career opportunities

We feel our new brand identity better reflects the core values behind and aims to promote exactly what we do every day: connect people to a world of career opportunities online, enable them find a job they’ll love, and help everyone achieve their goals through learning.

We do this by facilitating 100,000 job applications every day for the 11 million jobseekers that turn to every month in search of their next job. We do this by advertising 70,000 courses on all manner of topics. And we do this by delivering career advice for hundreds of thousands of users every month with access to thousands of articles with expert tips and advice on CVs, cover letters, interviews, professional development and more.

A group commitment isn’t the only thing changing.

Our new brand identity  is part of a wider rebrand of the entire Reed Group – including the likes of Reed (formerly Reed Specialist Recruitment), which provides one-to-one career guidance via its team of recruitment consultants, Reed in Partnership which helps the long term unemployed get back into work.

The Reed Group is home to 11 organisations in total, all with the same purpose of ‘improving lives through work’.

So, whether you need a new job now, you want to upskill and take your career to the next level with a course, need help and expert advice for your applications, want a recruitment consultant to find you something new, or you’re looking for work after a long period of unemployment – the Reed Group has got you covered.
